Sam & Jemima

Sam & Jemima were married in Tamworth in rural NSW, surrounded by nearly 200 family and friends, many of which flew in from all around the world to celebrate their big day!
A relaxed ceremony was held in the botanic gardens, followed by the reception at the local Rugby stadium, going from lunch to dinner!
The couple entered the reception running onto the field through a human tunnel made by the guests! The warm weather was enjoyed by everyone, guests drinking the bar dry of beer at one stage! A cupcake cake was cut after touching speeches and then the band swung into action and the party started!
It truly was a wonderful day, was so relaxed and fun and really reflected Sam & Jemima's personalities! It really was all about a great celebration with family and friends and i was so lucky to be a part of their day!

Nepean River 03 03 12

Sydney has has SO much rain over the past month or so- it really has been a cold and wet summer (hmmf!). It has rained so much that the Warragamba Dam spilled over last night. So i headed on down to the river early this morning, in my waterproof shoes and jacket to take some photos of the rising river.
I can't really remember the river ever being so high (was the late 80's/early 90's) so it was quite fascinating to see the river flowing very fast. There was all sorts of debris- particularly large logs getting dragged by the rampaging current- quite scary when you think about it.

A positive i got from the experience was that lots and lots of people decided to come down and check out the river, was nice friendly atmosphere, people gathering together and saying hello.
